January 21st is the feast of Saint Alban (Bartholomew) Roe: East Anglian gentleman, Catholic convert (from Anglicanism), Benedictine priest-monk of Dieulouard and Paris, translator, and martyr of the English Mission—hanged, drawn, and quartered at Tyburn in 1642, aged 58. ✝️
